The Genesis

Like most legends born of East London, it all started with a sourdough.

One morning, after discovering no butter in the fridge, Calum did what anyone would do when faced with an event of biblical proportions. He panicked. But right after that, he reached for the extra virgin olive oil, and dipped away, just like they do in the restaurants.

This got him thinking about extra virgin olive oil and its mystical charms. He wanted to share his appreciation of this precious liquid gold, in the only way he knew how. By texting his old mate Vikesh. Together they hatched a plan, to create art for the kitchen and to hopefully one day own the dining table.

Cal & Viks are best mates and passionate lovers of food, art and music. Proud Mary combines all of these. In harmony together, they created a taste explosion, fit to hang as the centrepiece of your banquet. Or just to drizzle on your pasta.
